A multitracked electric cello piece with a higher degree of randomness than expected. Two ostinati were created by inputting the sound of an A-440 from a portable tuner into a harmonizer set to custom arpeggiation patterns. The two patterns merge in the final section of the piece.

Over this structured texture were recorded slow, improvised soaring lines of harmonized cascading octaves and a long tone bass line (pitch shifted down an octave). The harmonies, dissonances, and resolutions revealed themselves during the recording process.
